On-site calibration
Accurate flow measurements are essential for effective process control, as well as for precise billing and reporting. In many industrial processes, exact measurement is also crucial for maintaining product quality, reducing waste, and optimizing resource use.
Modern flow meters generally perform accurately under optimal conditions. In practice, however, industrial environments are rarely ideal, and the total accuracy of the meters at their installation point is often unknown. Factors such as flow profiles, temperature variations, pressure changes, contamination, wear, and installation conditions can affect the flow meter's performance. The best way to ensure the accuracy of flow meters is to calibrate them on-site, during operation, in their actual conditions. This approach accounts for all potential sources of error and the entire measurement chain, from the instrument's raw value to the final value in the control or reporting system.
Our tracer-based calibrations are internationally accredited and cover all types of flows, both in pipes and open channels.
